it was tough going early as the clearing process was ongoing. quite windy at times across the ridge. the biggest trouble i had was the slick rocks. i hadn't been across the ridge in 6+ years! now with this hike i need just 6 more to complete the 48 at 70+. taking the bike path back to cannon was nice and smooth compared to the trails. it is about a 10 1/2 mile loop. |
