| Dog-Related Notes: |
easy dog trail. Kept Fin on leash until we were a few hundred feet above the driveway. There was a rambunctious chocolate lab mix belonging to the homeowners/trail maintainers who rushed us as we were ascending to the right of the driveway about 50 feet from route 2. He had his hackles up but wasn't malicious, just being a tough guy:) Was a tad unnerving for a moment as he was coming full speed and I had a leashed dog and a toddler, but he was just defending his turf and I can't blame him!!! |

Sweet little hike with a great view of the Dartmouth Range and Prezi's (with a nice bench) right below the summit. Easy grades most of the way with some moderate stretches. Nice, soft footing most the time with only a few rocks/roots to contend with. No water on trail but it's a shorty. There is a 200ish foot overgrown stretch just beyond the driveway but it quickly disappears. |
