Comments
Comments: So I think that the best time to do this hike would be spring before everything greens up. Half this hike is on forest roads and long stretches are very overgrown. nothing prickly, but still annoying. I was thinking it would be a great ski, but then you miss out on the only cool feature at the end, which is a large mine area with quartz crystals strewn all over the place. Wouldn't be much to explore if buried in snow.
