Comments
Comments: Nice to meet and talk with Eric, the new trail maintainer. Just as I was heading in, he emerged with a garden hoe in hand. He had just walked the entire trail and he had cleared several blowdowns as well.

As I returned to my car by headlamp, the stars were really standing out in Benton this evening. It was an incredibly beautiful nightscape.
