Initial Brook crossing was very low |

Dry and in great shape although a few bog bridges could use being replaced |

did not see any today, but would seem to be a fine trail for them |

Not bad. We sprayed at the 1.1 mi mark on ascent. Upon decent they were out But it kept us moving fast. |

Hazy but still great views of the entire Presi range from both Owls head and Mt. Martha although George was in the clouds. Only saw maybe six other parties the entire day. brisk wind at the top was cooling and keep the bugs away. Pretty soon the overgrowth on Mt. Martha will start obscuring the view from our favorite little bench seat; amazing how the trees have grown in just the past few years since I last visited here. |
