Comments
Comments: Daniel Webster Scout > Osgood to the summit and then the hut. Parapet back to Osgood down to Great Gulf then Great Gulf Link (parked at Dolly Copp).

The 29th WMG undersells the very long stretch of very exposed and very vertical climbing. Just under a mile. Much more scrambly than Castle or Caps Ridge. The views, when you carefully turn around to look, are just spectacular with Wildcats, Carters and over to Moriah just in stunning view. I would not go down this trail but up in perfectly dry conditions was fine!!
Osgood gets reported on a lot. Parapet is easy to follow. The wooded sections are really tight and be forewarned about rocks at knee level that you cannot see due to the thick foliage. Once I slowed down I stopped whacking my knees and shins, LOL!!
It made for a great loop. Would highly recommend!!
