| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Gale River Road parking lot 1/3 full when I started at 7:30. Pretty much the same when I returned at 2:15. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The one significant crossing was rock-hoppable. Water levels are quite low. (That, of course, is subject to change.) |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in good shape. One step-over and a couple of easy duck-unders on Gale River Trail. Having heard a lot of reports of trash on trails, I was quite happy to see nothing on this hike. |

| Bugs: |
Nothing. |

| Comments: |
Gale River Trail was fairly quiet. More traffic on Garfield Ridge Trail and near hut. A fair number of NOBO AT hikers and Pemi-loopers. |
