Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail in good shape. Signs of recent cutting/water bar work, which is appreciated. A couple of duck-unders and a half dozen or so step-overs on Burnt Mill Brook Trail. Last one (on ascent) significant enough that hikers have created a bypass.

Comments: Nice quiet hike after bailing (because of wind) on my original plan to hike the Wildcats. A fair number of cars at East Royce trailhead lot in Evans Notch, so if you want a quieter way to do either or both of the Royces I recommend this route.
