| Comments: |
All rock surfaces were dry today that made for secure footing. Nice views of Tuckerman and Huntington ravines from Boott Spur and Lion Head trails. Good to walk across Bigelow Lawn on the Davis Path even though I could see out to only two or three cairns at times. No views above tree line. Tourists and hikers at the summit. Auto Road and Cog Railway open. Saw goldenrod, asters, and one late Lapland Rosebay. Bunchberry, blueberry/bilberry, cranberry, and hobblebush berries. |
