No water crossing. Streams on Pine Link trail and wet rocks did not affect hike. |

Someone has been doing wonderful trail clearing with an axe on Pine Link. Thank You
Pine Link in alpine zone is getting narrow but still followable. |

Saw some. Some climbs on Howker probably will require dog lifting. |

Good day out. Trails mostly in good condition. Howker has some short interesting sections, I'm glad I was going up not down. Walk across the upper end of Pine Link was also interesting walking over the slides. Coming down Pine Link there is a long steep section before the Howker trail Junction. All very doable for experienced hikers.
Glad to talk to NOBO and SOBO trying to complete. |
