Comments
Comments: First time doing this loop clockwise. Definitely seemed easier than going counterclockwise, perhaps because you get the most elevation gain on the front end with fresh legs. Trails above tree line were mostly dry except for the occasional puddle. Old Bridle Path was wet in the morning but not really muddy. Muddiest area was portion of the Franconia Ridge Trail between Little Haystack and the junction with the Liberty Spring Trail. Flume Slide was very slick and challenging on the descent.

Few people out mid-week.
