 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Mt. Kinsman lot had a few spaces left at 7:30, but was overflowing onto the highway after noontime. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |

 | Recommended Equipment: |

|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
First crossing is pretty low. Second and third are not really flowing. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One moderate birch stepover/steparound a few tenths above the Bald Peak Spur junction. Noted some recent waterbar work. Mt. Kinsman is a well maintained trail. Unfortunately noting more active "social distancing" damage throughout, watching people trample down moss and vegetation that was holding soil in place. |

 | Comments: |
Mt. Kinsman Trail was mostly dry, as was Kinsman Ridge. The scramble ledges were dry as well.
Pretty crowded on the summits. Cool start with temperatures in the upper 30s and nice blue skies. Foliage is still generally green, but a yellow tint is working its way down Franconia Notch. |
