Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot about one-third full when I pulled in at 6:30. Looks like several of the cars had been there overnight. Lot filled in very quickly, it being Flags on the 48 day. When I returned to car at 3:20 there were cars parked a good ways up and down Sawyer River Road. Of course by then lot had a fair number of empty spaces, as many had returned much quicker than me.

Comments
Comments: A lot of people out, due to the great weather and the Flags event. A significant number of folks doing overnights. I have seen many reports of trash left on the trails but I am happy to say that has not been my experience on this or other recent hikes.

Kudos/thanks to the Flags crew.
