Comments
Comments: Plan was Hale & Zealand but my foot had other ideas. Quick road walk to Hale Brook, then quick hike to Hale. Steeper than I remember but not bad. Skies cleared before summit. Nice temps sun no wind enjoyed during my break. 1st time on Lend A Hand, nice views in spots. Surprised by the amount of water down low but lots of raised bridging. Started for Zealand, my Plantar Fasciitis put an end to that. Lunch in the sun overlooking the falls. Several people at Hut. They were serving food, I did not go in. Zealand is such a nice gentle trail. Beautiful views with pond levels really low. Nice relaxing hike on what turned out to be a beautiful day.
