Comments
Comments: Counterclockwise loop up Sandwich trail and down Drakes Brook. I highly recommend doing it this way, even though it seemed most people did otherwise. Parts of the Sandwich trail are rough-the section approaching Noon Peak was downright nasty-but Drakes Brook ended up being a gentle and pleasant descent.

Despite overflowing parking, it only felt busy near and on the Jennings Spur. Ended up being a beautiful day, and never got that cold since the steep climbing started right away. Outlooks from Noon Peak and Jennings were fabulous, not to mention the great visibility! Leaves are beginning to turn, although I fear that the drought will make them duller than usual.

Peakbagging Sandwich dome was tempting, but we're going to leave that for another day. I heard that the Algonquin trail is supposed to be a really nice route up there.
