| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Ample parking. Be ready for a bumpy ride in. Take Route 3 to Magalloway Road to get there. I went up Permanchee Road, to East Dead River River Road, and thank God I have a 4x4 or I never would've made it. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The main trail up is extremely eroded and could use some leveling, or water redirection. The side trail, Bobcat I believe, had a few blowdowns. One was large and low enough that you could make a shelter out of it. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Good to go. |

| Bugs: |
None. |

| Lost and Found: |
None. |

| Comments: |
Amazing views from the top, it really is worth the effort to drive up and see it. The trail to the ledges is behind the cabin at the peak, make sure to see those. And since you're close enough at that point, visit the USA-CAN border after your hike, it's only another half hour or so up the road. |
