Drainages and seeps are a one-hop affair at the most. Crossing the river? The suspension bridge is in fine shape. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Wow. This is one of the nicest trails I've hiked. There were blow-downs all over, but none posed much of a problem at all. Most were just step-overs, a small number were crouch-unders, and a tiny number were "hang on and swing under." Undergrowth has been cut back, and the footpath was easy to find and follow bottom to top. |

I'd been planning on hiking up from the east, but at the last minute, changed to the west. I'm so glad I did. It's a longer route for sure, but felt a lot easier for not having any water crossings, and a much smoother, less rocky footpath.
Photos and a detailed report on my blog, as always. |
