Comments
Comments: Started our hike by walking up the woods road that was labelled Dead End. Nice wood-lined road then through a gate where the road passes through a Christmas tree farm. Continued on this road, which is paralleled by a game fence. After passing a kind of gravel pit, we started looking for a spot to cross over/under the fence. Came to a point where a tree had fallen on it, making it easy to get over. We followed various old woods roads as well as some clear pathways up through the woods heading for the notch between the bumps. All of a sudden we heard a "Hey"! It was Lisa and Rick Fregeolle! What are the odds? We chatted a bit then allowed Rick to take point all the way to the summit. Four whackers but we could not find a jar! Hung a new one, took some pics then went our separate ways. We took a more direct heading towards the tree farm road, eventually finding an old woods road that led us straight to that gravel pit! Back down the road to our car. Nice fall day, nice hike, nice chance meeting in the woods!
