I popped up here because of a recent report in the 52WAV Facebook group which mentioned that the spur path to the NW outlook had been closed by the volunteer trail maintainer due to erosion. I'm happy to report this is not the case and the path is wide open and in good shape (in fact, it looks less brushy than when I was up here earlier in the year). I did notice a herd path to the SE that was brushed in, so perhaps that is what was being referred to.
Foliage is fading, but still some color around. Several other people heading up as I was coming down, but nothing that could be called busy. |
