Parking/Access Road Notes: parked just up from camp #9 on cherry mt. rd. off 302. my car and one other were all there was.

Trail Maintenance Notes: one big blowdown about 3 miles up the trail. easy to get around.

Dog-Related Notes: 2 dogs and 9 other hikers 6 of whom came up from 115 and were on the summit or nearly so.

Comments: i had never been on this end of the trail and it was a loooong time since climbing mt. martha. it was a nice day and a fun trail with the exception of zillions of dropped leaves. the pond near camp #7 with mt. deception in the background is quite a sight.
