There are 2 blowdowns on Hale Brook Trail and a couple more on Lend-A-Hand. There is a blowdown on Zealand Trail as well as a heavy leaner which will most likely fall in the near future. |

Excellent showery day loop hike. The hut is completely shut down no water is available but plenty in the streams if needed. I met 12 other hikers today. Despite foliage being long past still a beautiful hike through the woods and the tamaracks are ablaze in the bog. |
