Cascade Brook was easy to rock hop. Poles were very helpful. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Franconia Ridge Trail (about 10 minutes from Liberty Spring junction) has a downed tree that should be removed from the trail or at least have branches removed before the snow falls. There is one low duck-under that should also be removed, close to the first tree. |

Trails a bit muddy but much better than last week. A beautiful day out on the middle 2 peaks of Franconia Ridge. Blue sky, no wind, few people. The morning started with a great bull moose sighting on the Kanc. Doesn’t get better than that! |
