| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in great shape. The upper part of Valley Way below the Tentsite has approx 5 blowdowns. The Airline Trail between the intersection of Upper Bruin Trail and the Scar Trail have 13 blowdowns all but a couple are easy walk under and 2 require ducking |

None-strangely cobwebs up to alpine zone on Valley Way |

Found a roll of toilet paper and clothing at hut. Usually would pack this out but no room today in pack..sorry |

First time sunrise hike of Mt Madison. I encountered freezing fog and rime ice with strong winds starting at alpine zone. The trails were quite wet and occasional partially frozen puddle. It was nice chatting with the 9 hikers I met descending Airline. |
