Comments
Comments: Fell into the 1st crossing of Sabbaday and got my feet soaked starting a long day of having wet/soggy feet. Waded through the other major crossings and ended up changing my socks after finishing all the crossings on the trail. The short scramble section near the top of the trail, the top of the South slide and where Kate Sleep Tr traversed the top of the East slide track all were very wet and slippery and I ate it a couple times. Footing became much better after traversing both slides with W Sleeper summit being about 100' off trail on a side path and E Sleeper Spur being marked by a sign on the mid trail. The Rollins Tr was extremely muddy and ended up having to change my socks again at the jct with Dicey's Mill Tr. Did the East Path and View Spur for redlining. Sundown at Walden Tr - Square Ledge Tr jct and put on headlamps for the last 4.3 down to the trailhead. Moderate amount of mud on the bottom section of Passaconaway Cutoff. Lot of slippery leaves on both Square Ledge Tr and the top, steep portion of Passaconaway Cutoff.
