Comments
Comments: The forecasted sunny day turned out cloudy, viewless and with drizzle and snow showers. Trail was wet and muddy down low. Snow appeared on the trees at about 3 miles in and adorned the trail itself from a few hundred feet higher up, never more than an inch or so deep. The steeps above the junction were icy among the rocks and we wore spikes only for that section.
Good friends Chris, Nancy, Renee, Laura (with Buck), Gary, Greg and my son Steve were such fun companions, helping me celebrate a milestone.
