Parked one car on the western end, at the Wantastiquet Mtn. Trailhead, on Mountain Road; room for 6-8 cars. Parked a second car on Chesterfield Road/NH Rt. 63, at the parking area for Pisgah State Park/Kilburn Road Trail; large parking area. |

Wantastiquet-to-Monadnock Trail Segment 1: Wantastiquet Mountain Tr., Mine Ledge Tr., Ann Stokes Loop Tr., Daniels Mountain Loop, Bear Mountain Connector, Bear Mountain Tr.
It was a rainy day, so we missed the great views along the way. Trails were very well marked/signed and blazed.
Wantastiquet-to-Monadnock Trail map can be found online. Section 1 passes through Wantastiquet Mountain Natural Area, Madame Sherri Forest, and Bear Mtn. State Forest. The far east end of the Bear Mtn. Trail was not very pretty, passing over some private land with crappy logging trash, etc.... but that was short lived, and the rest of the trail was just lovely.
