Fun hike with Steve, Anne & David.
None of us had yet hiked the newest of the Squam Lakes Association Trails, the Brooks Fisher Trail. This trail was a gem, gently climbing to the ridge line by way of nicely laid out switch backs. Once on the ridge, we hiked south along the Crawford Ridgepole Trail, which drops and climbs steeply at times over smaller knobs and mountains.
Mid week on an overcast day was a perfect time to enjoy the woods to ourselves.
Lots of fun geocaching to be had along the way! Fun hike with friends. |
