Comments
Comments: A blustery and cold day for this south to north traverse, despite the forecast being more agreeable. The trails were mostly dry with just a few areas of scattered mud. Noted one new area of logging along the ridge which does not impact the trail. We also did the short easy bushwhack to the recognized ridge high point, which is on the unofficial 1,000 footers list. While low in elevation, this ridge has a lot of ups and downs that don't appear on the topo maps, making for a good workout. Overcast skies cut down on the views from the ledge outlooks, but still not bad. Saw a few other folks out.
