Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Spotted one car at the parking area north of Gap Mtn. off of Bellard Rd (per Gap Mtn. SPNHF map) and spotted the other car at the RR depot in Troy to help with redlining. Otherwise, using the parking area for the southern approach off of Gap Mtn. Road would make the most sense.

Comments
Comments: Fun section of hiking. Redlined the trails in Gap Mtn./SPNHF parcel today... as well as a small portion south to Troy (Wantastiquet-to-Monadnock "Thoreau Trail" section.)

The trail to Gap Mtn. South is not signed nor blazed, but is obvious, matches the map, and is flagged in places. Nice views from South peak.

The short trail from the South parking area is open again (it was closed this summer due to logging). There is a tiny short section of trail that was hit by logging.. but there is green flagging to keep hikers on the right path.

Very gentle trails, pleasant woods... fine day hiking and geocaching with JEM3.
