Comments
Comments: Trail ascends slowly through a beautiful forest until it meets up with Old Path. That trail ascends somewhat steeply to the col between N and S Doublehead. Bang out South First which has the best views. Then went to North which rises steeply to the peak where the cabin rests. behind the cabin maybe 100 feet is the lookout. The ski trail is just a way down which is not very "traily". If I were to do it again I would just go back to the col and down old Path to make it feel more like hiking. The ski trail in the winter would not be very challenging with snow for skiers. More like a green with some light blues mixed in. Over all a great and short 3.9 mile hike!
