| Comments: |
Sunny day to star weather closed in as predicted; light sleet as we were finishing. HN and CB has insignificant patches of water, avoidable ice, but mostly firm dirt to allow easy progress. By the split of Hancock loop, more hard ice covered trail surface making use of rocks/roots more secure footing. Do NOT go around this loop without some type of traction; we found coming down S limb even more hazardous than up N. Otherwise, enjoyable cruise on HN and CB; very much enjoyed trail from N to S peaks (which did have some icy sections, too). Checked off peaks on Willow's list.
