Comments
Comments: At low elevations the trail was mostly leaf covered spotted with bits of snow. At upper elevations there was some ice that can be avoided. I did not use traction today.
Good view of Conway Lake from ledges along Black Cap Connector, nice views of the snow covered Mt Washington capped by a white cloud bank from Black Cap summit and from the ledges on Peaked Mountain, and a fine view of Pleasant Mountain from the summit of Middle Mountain.
This is a good hike when the forecast is for windy conditions and icy surfaces at the higher elevation peaks.
