| Comments: |
We followed some of the other reports, Headed up the overgrown FR 64B to the open Log Landing (this was overgrown but now the animals have created a pretty easy herd path to the clearing). From here we headed straight for the peak in whippy small trees initially but after .2 miles it cleared up to open hard woods. About .2 miles from the summit we ran into a small cliff band that could probably be avoided but it really wasn't that difficult. On top of this another herd path took us straight to the recognized high point and we signed in. We returned mostly the same way but stayed more easterly as we neared the clearing which made for much easier walking to the clearing. |
