Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Took Route 110A from Route 110 in West Milan to Cedar Brook Road (an ATV road) .7 on CBR then a left onto an unnamed lesser road (marked at the entrance with No Dirt Bikes or ATV Allowed) This was narrower than CBR but passible for Gordon's Forester. Took this for .7 miles to a 'y' and went left for another .2 to a large landing. Plenty of room for many vehicles here.

Comments
Comments: From the parking area we took a rough logging track westerly for approx. .2 miles then a sharp right (track continues straight). We followed this track in a NW direction until it began heading downhill. At this point we took a bearing for the summit and proceeded through a fairly open Beech Wood forest for a steady climb to the summit. The bearing took us to the ridge a few hundred yards from the open field where the summit is obvious. We saw the Deer Blind and the stand and the other articles including the feeding trough. It was such a beautiful day we were able to sit on the summit bump and enjoy lunch. We followed our ascent back to an old skidder trail that paralleled our uphill track and this brought us nearly to the same road we started on. Strenuous uphill whack but in open woods and a beautiful day for late November.
