Comments
Comments: Love the Shelburne Trail Club's trails and they are in great conditions and soft under our feet. Some leaves on the Scudder Trail but not too bad. Wonderful views on the many ledge outcroppings along the way to the summit of Ingalls wooded summit. There was some ice on Judson Pond but not thick ice yet. We found a few places with a dusting of snow up high but that was it and not an issue. The way back down went quickly and then we turned on the yellow trail and rock hopped across the brook. Then we went out and back to the cable car. Cable car is way too fun (oh if they would only build one of these Thoreau Falls Trail). We continueed on to the summit of Mt. Crag, the biggest bang for you buck in the Whites! Oh the vista was grand and nice to meet a fine local lady and her two Corgis on the summit. We passed by a few hikers coming up to Crag from Gates Brook Trail otherwise we had the trails to ourselves.
