On Welch side of loop, rock hoppable. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Double blowdown blocking trail at forest proection sign on Welch side - treetops could be removed with hand saw (didn't have one with me). A few moderate sized blowdowns prior to the first ledge. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Not much water on much of the loop - with open ledges, careful on hot days! |

| Bugs: |
A few mosquitoes on lower Dickey side. Some black flies higher up. A few deer flies (not aggressive yet). Generally though, not bad. |

Loop was mostly dry. Finally visited the northern ledges of Dickey via the faint herd path - very nice! |
