Water Crossing Notes: On Welch side of loop, rock hoppable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Double blowdown blocking trail at forest proection sign on Welch side - treetops could be removed with hand saw (didn't have one with me). A few moderate sized blowdowns prior to the first ledge. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Not much water on much of the loop - with open ledges, careful on hot days! 
Bugs
Bugs: A few mosquitoes on lower Dickey side. Some black flies higher up. A few deer flies (not aggressive yet). Generally though, not bad.

Comments: Loop was mostly dry. Finally visited the northern ledges of Dickey via the faint herd path - very nice!
