 | Comments: |
About an inch of snow starting out. As we gained elevation the snow pack increased to 2-4 inches. No need for micro spikes or snowshoes. A few deep drifts near the summit. The Mead trail had a few sections of water running through the trail. Easy to navigate. Took the high water detour on the Guinea Pond trail. The Sandwich Notch Road was packed down. Minimal snow on the Bear Camp River trail. 8.7 mile loop, 4 hrs 20 mins total time, including a few breaks but not much time at the summit due to the strong winds. |
