Falling Waters, Franconia Ridge, Greenleaf, Bridle Path
Saw about 15 other hikers, all barebooting or spikes except for one feller who put on snowshoes @ Greenleaf Hut to "help the trail" on his way down. He took them off before long as the booting trough was to narrow for snowshoes. Trail up Falling Waters is well packed, some knee deep snow drifting on the ridge and softer snowpack descending Liberty. |
