Parked on the Carriage Road, just outside the gate. Room for 3 cars in the lot plus there were about 5 cars along the side of the road today. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Significant |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
One small crossing at the beginning of the Piper Trail was very hoppable. ATV trail to Whiteface had 5-6 LARGE mud puddles that had to be bypassed. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Everyone but me had a dog today and they all looked happy. There is water all along this trail, but some of it is just mud puddles and not running. |

| Bugs: |
Few blackflies and few mosquitoes but nothing bad at all. |

Everything clouded in today. No views. Maybe I'll try this hike again in winter. |
