Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked on the Carriage Road, just outside the gate. Room for 3 cars in the lot plus there were about 5 cars along the side of the road today.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One small crossing at the beginning of the Piper Trail was very hoppable. ATV trail to Whiteface had 5-6 LARGE mud puddles that had to be bypassed.

Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Everyone but me had a dog today and they all looked happy. There is water all along this trail, but some of it is just mud puddles and not running.

Bugs: Few blackflies and few mosquitoes but nothing bad at all.

Comments: Everything clouded in today. No views. Maybe I'll try this hike again in winter.
