Comments
Comments: Conditions were just above freezing so it was mostly mashed-potato snow that balled up on microspikes and pulled them loose. Switched to snowshoes at Big Bickford bushwhack and stuck with them the rest of the way, though Garfield Ridge was mostly wind-blown and needed light traction at most. Great bushwhack to Big Bickford if you need it, starts at same elevation as col between trail and summit. I would necessarily suggest our Eagle Cliff bushwhack in these conditions.
