Started in the clouds and were in them for the entirety of the hike. Trails were packed but slushy due to warmer temps (very reminiscent of spring hiking). Up main trail to summit, ledges were icy, I definitely recommend spikes. A group of teens did not have any traction and were having a tough time coming down the ledges. To avoid going down the icy ledges, went down brook trail which was a very nice moderate trip down. |
