 | Comments: |
Trail begins just down the dirt road on the left. Conditions were a mix of dry trail, wet trail, snow, and ice. Didn’t need snowshoes.
Going up to Whiteface was fairly easy going. We were able to bareboot up to Whiteface using a little caution in a few spots to avoid ice and or walk on the snow.
Heading up and down Piper, spikes are definitely useful right now with large areas of ice as you approach the summit. A few spots with deeper snow approaching the summit of Piper with deep postholes, but it’s fairly solid now. |
