Trail initially had spotty coverage, then transitioned to full snow cover, then to blue ice, all before the South Peak junction. Some snow, ice, and bare ground on the way to South Peak. The trace of mixed precip from last night had mostly melted. Rock spikes were ideal.
Snowshoes will be superfluous until we get more snow. |
