Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns have been cleared on the CMT (thanks!) but a few remain -- there's also one large duckunder just before the ridge. Martha's' Mile has been hit again in the blowdown patch with many trees down. Nothing that really impedes travel too much, but it's going to take some work to clean up. AFAIK, this trail is currently without an adopter, so these may be here a while.

Comments
Comments: Easy conditions made for easy travel today, and spikes were fine round-trip. Snow depths are minimal and well-packed. The scrambles on Owlshead are just starting to ice up, but weren't too bad -- just take your time and use care going up and down. The Owlshead ledges were a mix of snow and bare granite. Of course, these conditions will change with the incoming storm.

A gorgeous bluebird day made for excellent views, with a slight undercast visible from SW outlook on Martha. Cool to see Garfield and the Twins / Bonds poking out. This was the place to be today, as I ran into a lot of folks who I know both online and in person.
