Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked about 1 mile up Brown Road at a bump out just before a log home on the left. It was only plowed to this driveway today. There are camps beyond this point and vehicle tracks in and out but we feared both getting stuck and that there wouldn't be a place to park.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: My iphone (probably on/near the summit because I took a photo), Noticed it gone when we had lunch in the col and we re-hiked this peak looking everywhere our tracks took us. Expensive lesson learned.

Comments
Comments: We followed Brown Road to it's end and headed toward Corridor #7 on the NHSA map. This was a class IV road that serviced several camps. Once on #7 we followed it toward the Stratford Notch and where it broke hard left (South) we continued on a very good logging road to a landing. The road continued but was not very well maintained beyond the landing. Where it began to split we headed into the woods toward the col between Stratford Notch Mountain and Goback Savage (East Peak). From the col we headed to the recognized high point and signed in. We didn't have time to hit the other peak because of the added time spent looking for my phone and running out of daylight.
