Parked on the corner of Rooney and Blakeslee. No-one seemed to be home in the two houses on Rooney although we did knock, so we decided to park at the corner JIC |

Followed Rooney Road extension to just below a height of land at what appeared to be a logging road. We followed this for a bit then just concentrated on heading towards the peak while staying east of the ridge. Hit some possible logging/snowmobile trails and one section which appeared to be a possible hiking trail with bogging boards. As reported a week or so ago, there did not appear to be a jar on the summit. After checking out three possible bumps, we hung one. |
