Comments
Comments: Trail well packed, used micros for the entire hike without any issues but wish we had the hill sounds for descent. The steeps to East Osc had some slick sections (unplanned butt sledding). Chimney by-pass easy to follow since it was the option of choice for many earlier hikers. Unless we get more snow soon, traction on the by- pass may get challenging. Sections of Loose snow between E Osc and Osc result of shallow snow drifts.
Sunny but windy day, saw fewer than a dozen hikers all day.
