Four cars in the parking area across from the Gale River Road entrance at 7:30 a.m., and 6 cars at 2:45 p.m. The parking area could have handled a few more. |

Didn't see any, but a winter hiking dog could handle it. |

Amazingly, one. |

| Comments: |
The trail was well-packed the whole way. Initially bare booted, and then microspikes when it started getting steeper. No postholes, but I'm not sure there could be. Snow depth along the trail was only a few inches. No views today, unfortunately. Unless you like gray. |
