Comments
Comments: Bare booted up the Lambert Ridge Trail until the junction with Ranger Trail. Lambert Ridge Trail had a few inches of snow, but it was light. From the junction of the Lambert Ridge Trail and the Ranger Trail to the fire tower, the trail had some light powder, but with more ice below the snow. We threw on microspikes from that junction until we got reached the fire tower, and kept them on for the descent all the way back to the car. Ranger Trail was light powder, with some minor icy sections.

A cold windy climb up the fire tower, but it is open. Lovely views from the fire tower and the ledges along the Lambert Ridge Trail. We pushed on beyond the fire tower to what I thought was the true summit. That final stretch wasn't well-traveled and the powder was a bit deeper, but still fairly light.
