Comments
Comments: A nice winter traverse staying in the conifers the entire way after topping out on Polecat Ski Tr. Wore snowshoes for most of the day due to a combination of drifts and poorly consolidated snow in places on both ridges. Shoulda, coulda taken them off at the top jct of North Carter Tr but instead kept them on till a little ways down Imp Tr and that was unnecessary. Barebooted for a short ways but there was enough ice in places to put the spikes back on which improved the pace a bit.
